New Tuff Plush Toys

s6yktm7djfAspen Pet has introduced a new tougher plush toy. The company claims that the new plush toys are three times as strong as a typical plush toy. However, they’ve managed to maintain the soft and squeezable nature of a typical plush toy.
If your dogs are like mine, they can chew through nearly anything. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend any plush toy without watching your dog or knowing their chewing habits. However, if your dog is gentle with plush toys, this could be a money saver for you.
The Tuff Plush line comes in (from what I’ve seen) four types which include the Cookie Cutters, Long Friends, Rug Dogs, and the Round Hounds that are pictured below.
The Long Friends are about 12” by 3” in size. Sizes vary depending on style. The long friends retail for around $11.99. If you shop around you may be able to find them cheaper. From my searches online, I’ve seen them available from most major online and brick and mortar stores including Dr Fosters and Smith and Pet Smart.
Again, it’s important that you supervise your dog or know their chewing capabilities. I haven't tried this product personally, because I know my dogs well enough to know these wouldn't hold up for me. In addition, Tuff Plush is not a sponsor of this site. However, I like to share news about new products with fellow dog owners. If they live up to the claim of being three times as strong as normal plush toys and your dog isn't a destroyer of all things plush, then you could save a bundle.
