Here Jenny and I will write and share our favorite Golden stories and articles. Hopefully we'll give some informative tips on the Golden Retriever breed that may also help those with other breeds. Feel free to comment or add to our blog. In addition, if you would like to write a story, feel free to contact us. Our goal is to keep this light hearted, heart warming, or fun. Thanks for reading!
When All Else Fails Watch the Wagging Tails
Unless someone has lived in a cave the last few years, it’s no secret things have been tough. If you are fortunate to have a job, it’s likely that you have more work than you used to or your hours have been cut back. If not that, then some type of benefit taken away. Couple that with medical or family problems and you have a recipe for a bad day, month, or year.
Jenny and I have certainly our share of downs over the last few years. There are times, as I’m sure other do, we wonder if or when things will turn around.
There are people who don’t understand the reason some people like dogs more than people, or why some dog owners loves their dogs so much. The last few years answers that question for Jenny and I. No matter how broke you are, how bad people treat you, or how sick you feel; your dog is always by your side or happy to see you.
There have been many bad days over the last few years when coming home to those wagging tails made things just a bit easier. In your darkest hour you are still a hero to your dog.
Although it has been said before, now more than ever, a dogs zest for the simple things in life really helps put things in perspective. In addition, they can really brighten your day with their contagious enthusiasm. That happy tail wag that greets you at the door every day screams out “Am I glad to see you!” and then you start to forget just how bad things really are. So when all else fails watch the wagging tails.
