Poisonous Foods and Plants

Be careful what you feed your dogs and what plants you may have!

This list is not to over state or cause panic. In most cases one small piece of something mistakenly ingested will not kill your dog. However, the idea here is to avoid leaving the bag of onions or grapes on the counter for your dog to gobble up or allowing your dogs to nibble on household or yard plants. Use common sense. In addition, don't give your dog too much of anything because even something that is not poisonous can make them sick, especially in hot weather. I also suggest that people be extremely picky about where they get their rawhide. Some rawhide products are imported and contain toxins. Make sure it's made in America. In addition, it should go without saying that household cleaners are poisonous. If you know of any other plants or foods that can be added to our list, please contact us.
