I was born just outside of Philadelphia. I've been an Eagles fan my whole life. Then came the news that they signed Michael Vick. Nothing like ruining a whole football season before it even starts. As much as I love football, my love for animals is far greater. I don't think I could support the Eagles and look my dogs in the face or myself in the mirror. I'd love to see the Eagles win a championship, but not at all cost. I've never been one to pass up other entertainment to watch a football game so I guess I'm not what they'd call and avid football fan after all. Maybe I'll support the home team (Green Bay Packers). Maybe I'll support my wife's team (The Bears or Da Bears). If I'm lucky I'll be too busy to worry about football. I'll pretend this is just a bad dream and I'll wake up from it next year and Vick will be playing for the Cowboys.
